Upcoming Katrina Kaif Film 2021: All plans are in full swing for the launch of the third film in Salman Khan-Yash Raj Films ‘Tiger’ franchise. The film is expected to launch in mid-July. While the first Tiger film (Ek Tha Tiger) was directed by Kabir Khan, the second one (Tiger Zinda Hai) was played by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Now the third Tiger film will be directed by the band Baja Baaraat fame Monesh Sharma. It is understood that there was a suggestion from the Tiger team to replace a female lead to maintain freshness in the franchise.

A source says, “After two Tiger films, there was a possibility of replacing Katrina Kaif. If you see, most franchise films in India retain the hero, but the heroine keeps on changing. However Salman insisted Katrina for Tiger 3.
Earlier, when the cast was being selected for Kick 2, there was talk of replacing Jacqueline Fernandez. But there again Salman made his point.
Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong with her mother’s surname Turquotte (also spelt Turcotte), on 16 July 1983. According to the actress, her father (Mohammed Kaif) is a British businessman of Kashmiri descent and her mother (Suzanne, also spelt Susanna) is an English lawyer and charity worker.
