Rashmi Gautam is an Indian actress, mainly in Telugu movies. She also starred in the romantic Kandaen Tamil film in 2011, garnering positive reviews for her performance. Rashmi was nominated for Best New Actress in the SIIMA Award for GURU (kannada), which is a remake of Tamil hit movie Mouna Guru. She also works as a television presenter and is known to have hosted the Telugu TV comedy show, Extra Jabardasth.
After playing in a supporting role in the 2010 Telugu film, Prasthanam, Rashmi was spotted by actress Sangeetha during a reality show and she referred her to Mugil, who then named her to play the lead role of Narmada in the film Kandaen. A critic of The Hindu gave the film a positive review, citing Rashmi “making his presence felt” and that it was “a pretty solid role”.

Career
The actress started her career at a very early age. Since childhood, Rashmi was inclined towards anchoring and on-stage performances. At the age of 14, she started her journey in the film industry with the Telugu film “Holi” as a child artist. After that she appeared in many movies as a child artist.
After she got her kick start in the industry as a child artist she turned into a model and started her modeling career. With her hot looks and dedication towards work she gets a chance to present a TV show. The actress got much popularity and gains stardom with the TV comedy show “Extra Jabardasth” this show was running for six years and one of the most popular shows on Telugu TV. She worked in many TV reality shows as an anchor or as a team leader in dance reality shows.
In 2019 the actress also gets a chance to appear in a web series on Netflix and will be seen in another web series that will be launched on a digital platform by the end of this year.
