Amrita Rao is an Indian actress and model who primarily appears in Hindi-language films. Born and raised in Mumbai, Rao made her screen debut in Ab Ke Baras, for which she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 2003. One of her most popular roles was in the romance film Vivah.
